A Better Way-Richmond (formerly Genesis of Richmond) continues The Secret Ingredient and Jeanne Rush’s tradition by holding a second Butterfly Release event this year at the Richmond Rose Garden, Thursday, September 8 at 6 p.m., titled Evening of Hope.
The proceeds will benefit programs at A Better Way-Richmond. A Better Way provides services for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, advocacy, individual trauma-informed counseling, support groups, a 24-hour crisis line for persons in any type of crisis, education + referrals, a suicide hotline, bullying, teen dating violence and domestic violence prevention programs.
In addition to the butterfly release at the Richmond Rose Garden, the evening will also include a silent auction, live music, entertainment, wine, beer, and light hors d’oeuvres, and desserts.
