First Bloom and Glow 2019-Thank you to all our sponsors

The Richmond Rose Garden Board would like to say a Huge Thank you to the Community and all our sponsors for supporting our Seventh Annual First Bloom and Glow Event celebrating the First Blooms of the Roses. Thank you to the community for supporting our need to change the date of this event due to the weather. We especially thank Rick Duncan, Phil Quinn, Mike Emery, and Jane Holman along with Mayor Dave Snow for helping us share the date change of the event.

We would like to specifically Thank our Major Event $1,000 Sponsors: The Ron McDaniel Foundation, and First Bank Richmond.
We also want to Thank our $500 Event Sponsors:
Vista Investment Partners, Belden, Health Care Professionals Federal Credit Union, Buckley Excavating, Better Homes and Gardens Realty, Van Vleet Insurance, Mosey Manufacturing, Primex Plastics, West End Bank, and Wayne County Foundation.
In addition, we would like to thank all our many Balloon Sponsors! These sponsors are vital to making the event happen!

Thank you also to The First Bloom and Glow committee:
Ann Herrman: Chairperson for all seven years, Beth Van Der Burgt, Millie Martin Emery, Pat Jarvis, Cheryl Kleer, Sandi Hodgin, Anne Parliament, and Sandy Witherby for all their hard work.

I am so glad we don’t cut the ornamental grasses back in the fall. I like them, especially when nothing else is on the garden. They make a great backdrop in the winter landscape.
