Free chocolate and free music abound! The RSO Chocolate Garden this Saturday is hosted by a partnership between Richmond Rose Garden and Richmond Symphony Orchestra. Admission is free and local businesses will be handing out samples of their treats, complete with children’s crafts a brass ensemble. ”The RSO Chocolate Garden is an opportunity to unite three of Wayne County’s assets in one location – chocolatiers, roses and the arts,” said Monica Koechlein, the symphony’s executive director. “The Richmond Symphony Orchestra is proud to sponsor this event made possible by West End Bank Charitable Foundation, the Wayne County Foundation and the generosity of the businesses of this community.”

Visitors are invited to drop by at any time between 4:00 and 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 25th to wander and admire the roses as they indulge in chocolate. Richmond Symphony Brass will perform at 4:15 p.m. Folding chairs will be available for those who wish to sit and listen to the music, and guests are also welcome to bring their own seats if they wish to do so.
