Gazebo Renovation Completed
After 35 years the gazebo needed some repair. The repairs were completed by Miles-Richmond and Chomel and sons roofing. Perseponko painting finished the project by giving the Gazebo a new coat of paint in early fall 2022. Thank you to the Wayne County Foundation for our grant from cycle II, and to our donors who helped us pay for this renovation project.
Gazebo Rental
The Victorian Gazebo with electrical outlets can be reserved for weddings and special events for a fee of $200. The fee allows us to maintain the Gardens to a high standard for events. Furthermore, it is important to book the Gazebo for events to give our volunteers notice to have the Garden looking clean and trimmed for the occasion.
The Gazebo can be reserved by contacting the Parks Department Office at (765) 983-7275 who will contact the Rose Garden Board.
We also appreciate each group to return benches and anything in the Garden to the way it appeared upon arrival. Cleaning up of decorations after a wedding is a must to ensure that our Garden remains in pristine condition for all visitors.
The Rose Garden is a public garden and cannot be closed during the reservation period. We hope the public will be respectful of any ceremony.
