The Richmond Rose Garden received some fantastic news last week! John McBride from the West End Charitable Foundation contacted our board president, Beth Van Der Burgt, and shared that they were awarding the Richmond Rose Garden with $25,000.

The West End Charitable foundation was established in January 2012 to provide financial support to charitable and community service organizations in the communities in which West End Bank operated. Funded entirely by West End Bank and West End Indiana Bancshares, the Foundation has been dedicated to community activities and charitable causes with an emphasis on the promotion of education, health and human services, youth programs and quality of life initiatives.

The Richmond Rose Garden was awarded the $25,000 to help continue our efforts to be an inviting entryway to the East Side of Richmond.

Our board is overwhelmed with excitement and extremely grateful for this generous gift! We want to thank West End Charitable Foundation for their support. This gift will help our organization continue our mission and complete our Richmond Rose Garden Master Plan.
